Bonni Wulvik’s Counseling is a private counseling practice located in Alaska. When we began working together, her website was virtually non-existent online due to severe technical issues that made it unfindable by search engines. There was little content, a keyword strategy, and significant visibility barriers.
The Problem
Before any SEO could even begin, we uncovered critical technical issues:
The domain was not indexable by Google
DNS and SSL/HTTP certificate errors made the site appear unsafe and unsearchable
No keyword strategy or optimization
Very little on-page content
No local SEO to help her reach clients in her area
The Solution
The Solution to recover and optimize her online presence, I:
Fixed DNS and HTTP/SSL certificate issues to make the site visible and indexable again
Performed full keyword and competitor research
Built a targeted keyword strategy tailored to counseling and mental health in Alaska
Added location-specific keywords to improve local discoverability
Rewrote all on-page copy to reflect her services, values, and expertise
Cleaned up technical and on-page SEO errors found in the audit
The Results
While she’s still early in her SEO journey, the impact was immediate:
Her site became visible and indexable again on Google
Technical health significantly improved
On-page content now reflects strategic keywords, services, and client pain points
She’s now positioned to gain local visibility and search rankings in a niche service area

Before: Website unfindable due to domain and certificate issues

After: Fully optimized copy with strategic keyword integration, improved structure, and enhanced user experience.
This project was more than just an optimization—it was a complete digital rescue. Bonni’s website went from unsearchable and nearly lost to the Google abyss, to clean, functional, and ready to support her clients online. Foundational SEO isn’t just about ranking—it’s about being visible to the people who need you most.
